CIRS is happy to announce the expansion of our educational support to now include the resumption of Pre-Retirement Workshops for Members planning to retire within the next 12 months!
During these sessions, CIRS staff will explain the timing, options, and decision points of the retirement process for the CIRS Plans. Meetings generally last about one hour and are informational, not mandatory.
Members can attend a session via Zoom or in-person at the CIRS Office at 225 West 34th Street in Manhattan, but they must register in advance. The registration details are included in the attachment. This schedule is also located on our website www.cirsplans.org\events.
As a reminder, Members that need assistance completing their final retirement paperwork can make an appointment for a private meeting with a CIRS staff member. These one-on-one meetings can be conducted virtually or in-person at our office. An appointment is mandatory and must be made by calling the CIRS office at 212-674-0101.
